I went directly from Concordia College (Moorhead, MN) to Wartburg Seminary, where I was both a residential student and a distance student over my 4 years. I served as an intern at Phinney Ridge Lutheran in Seattle for 2 years because of Covid, so I have experience working in both large congregations and small. I am currently in my 4th year of ordained ministry, and I have been at Luther Memorial the entire time. Until December 2024, I was also serving as a part-time chaplain at the nursing home next door. I also spent June 2024- April 2025 serving as pulpit supply for our neighboring UCC congregation.
I have previously served on the NWWA Synod’s Bishop Convocation Planning Team; am currently serving as the Board President for Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Washington and the NWWA Synod Elections Committee Co-Chair; and was newly elected as a Synod Council member and as a member of the Churchwide Committee on Discipline.
I am a queer identifying, neurodivergent, young adult who has a deep love for this church and a commitment to helping it be all that it can be.
